United Arab Emirates announced the discovery of the first case of pneumonia caused by nCoV virus in the family from Wuhan.

"The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Health and Preventive Services (UAE) has reported cases of a new corona virus infection from members of a family from Wuhan, China," said WAM state news agency. The UAE reported today, but did not say how many people were infected.

"The health status of the affected people is now stable and they are under medical supervision," WAM quoted the announcement from the Ministry of Health and Prevention. This is the first confirmed case of Wuhan pneumonia virus in the Middle East.

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention also said it has taken "all necessary precautions" according to standards approved by the World Health Organization (WHO). "The country's health system is working very well and the Ministry is following the situation to ensure the health and safety of everyone," the statement said.

Gulf airports, including Dubai, which has one of the world's largest aviation centers, said last week it would screen all passengers from China in the wake of an outbreak of pneumonia caused by the strain. new corona virus (nCoV).

The epidemic has spread to more than 15 countries since it appeared in Wuhan in late December, with the number of deaths as of this date of 132 and nearly 6,000 people infected. All confirmed deaths so far are in China.
