USA The man hides behind a large board in Costco supermarket in Atlanta for 5 hours before taking thousands of dollars of jewelry.

Coweta County police, Georgia, USA, are searching for a suspect theft jewelry at Costco supermarket, Atlanta city on 10/10. They said this guy went to the supermarket early in the evening, prepared a place to hide, then left.

A few hours later, at about 19h45, the suspect returned, walked around and hid behind a large display board on the wall in front of the supermarket. The man stayed there for 5 hours, waiting until the supermarket employees finished cleaning and closed the door to commit theft.

Video from the surveillance camera showed the man out of hiding, breaking the glass case and taking away more than $ 13,000 worth of jewelry.

Police believe the surveillance camera at a nearby theater captured the truck that the suspect used to go to Costco and leave. They called on people to report to officials if a car or suspect was discovered. The police are also clarifying whether there is an accomplice in the burglary.

"It's shocking and scary," says Hilerin Gordon, a Costco customer. "How can he run away with jewelry?"
