Germany8 employees at a senior home in the city of Stralsund were injected with Pfizer doses many times the recommended dose, leaving four people hospitalized.

The incident happened at a nursing home in the city of Stralsund, capital of the Vorpommern-Ruegen region, northern Germany, on December 27 when health workers and health care workers were vaccinated with Covid-19 by Pfizer.

"I am very sorry about this. This is a single case due to personal error. I hope those affected do not experience any serious side effects," said Stefan Kerth, head of the Vorpommern regional government.

The incident occurred amid the refusal of vaccines in many regions in Germany on suspicion that the cold environment for storing the Pfizer vaccine was not maintained during transportation.

On December 26, tens of thousands of doses of Covid-19 vaccine were delivered to regional health authorities in Germany and continued to be distributed to local immunization centers.

Germany used to control the first outbreak of Covid-19 quite well, but was heavily influenced by the second wave of translation.
