In addition to 85 suspects of Chinese nationality, authorities also arrested six Indonesians, confiscating material that were desktops and laptops, Indonesian police said.

"They pretend to be police officers or prosecutors who call victims, saying they are having legal problems and need to pay them to solve the problem," Jakarta police chief Gatot Eddy Pramono said. about the fraudulent method of the above line. The raid came just days after Malaysia announced the arrest of nearly 1,000 Chinese suspects in a large-scale fraud line in the country. It is not clear whether the two online fraudulent links are related to each other.
