Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide took a tour around Sword Lake earlier this morning, before ending his tour in Vietnam.

Around 6 a.m. this morning, many people in Hanoi were surprised and excited to see Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide appearing on the road along Sword Lake.

Many people waved to the Prime Minister of Japan and he also waved back.

The Prime Minister of Japan and his wife arrived in Vietnam from the evening of October 18 to commence their official two-day visit.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Suga held talks with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and witnessed the exchange of signed documents between ministries, branches, localities and businesses of the two countries with a total value of nearly 4 billion USD.

He also greeted the General Secretary, State President Nguyen Phu Trong, met with National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, paid courtesy visit to the Head of the Central Organizing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam - Nhat Friendship Parliamentary Group Pham Minh Chinh.

Other activities of the visit include meeting and talking with students of the Vietnam-Japan University, visiting Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, visiting Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, and placing a wreath at the Memorial of Martyrs.

This morning Mr. Suga will leave Vietnam for Indonesia.
