Mohammed Mutumba, a 27-year-old priest at a mosque in Kayunga district, central Uganda, felt suspicious because four days after the Muslim wedding ceremony in December, his wife Swabullah Nabukeera still "refused to take off." bed clothes ". The couple was not intimate for two weeks after the wedding because the "wife" was due to her period.

The truth was exposed when police recently arrived at Mutumba's house in search of Nabukeera on charges of stealing television and clothes from neighbors. A female police officer examines this person and discovers that "she" is actually a man.

After his arrest, this man declared his real name as Richard Tumushabe, pretending to be a woman to be able to marry the priest. The police also accused him of planning to steal "husband" money.

Some locals reported that the man had a "soft and sweet voice and walked like a woman". He also used to attend a ceremony in a woman's outfit or headscarf.

Mutumba was shocked after the incident and resorted to a psychologist. Because he married a man, he was suspended as a priest at Kyampisi Masjid Noor mosque in order to protect the integrity of the faith of Islam.
