Japan, Iran Italy and France recorded a total of 5 deaths, bringing the number of deaths due to global coronavirus to 2,771.

The Japanese Ministry of Health today said two new deaths including an 80-year-old man in Tokyo recently did not come to China and there was no indication that every human contact has been confirmed to be infected with nCoV. The other patient is another elderly person in Hokkaido, northern Japan. Japan recorded 705 cases of nCoV on the Diamond Princess and 171 outside the yacht. The Italian civil protection agency today announced that 374 people were infected with nCoV and 12 people had died in the country. The latest patient is a 69-year-old man.

An Iranian Ministry of Health spokesman said on Tuesday that the country had recorded three more deaths, bringing the number of deaths to 19. 139 people infected.

In France, a 60-year-old teacher died today in Paris, becoming the first French to die from nCoV. Earlier, France recorded the first death as an 80-year-old Chinese tourist. France detected 17 cases.
