Iran is currently the third largest outbreak in the world and the country with the second largest number of deaths in the world, after mainland China. The capital, Tehran, is the worst hit, with 1,539 confirmed cases, though the situation in the northern provinces is getting worse. More than 300 cases have been reported in Mazandaran province, a leading tourist destination in northern Tehran.

"Mazandaran topped the list because the restrictions imposed on domestic tourism were not imposed," Jahanpour said. "Recognizing that a small part does not value the situation, endangering the health of themselves and others, imposing limits has been put on the agenda."

Iran yesterday recorded a new daily record of 1,234 cases. Iran currently has 5,823 cases nationwide, of which 145 have been fatal. The government closed schools nationwide until early April to prevent the disease from spreading.

However, due to the upcoming holidays, many people want to travel, especially the famous destinations in Nbb. Some provinces, including the northern and central regions, said they would not provide any accommodation to tourists to prevent people from traveling.

Covid-19, which originated in Wuhan in December 2019, has appeared in 98 countries and territories, causing nearly 104,000 cases of nCoV and more than 3,500 deaths. Neighboring countries and many more distant countries such as Canada and the United States have recorded cases of nCoV infection related to Iran.
