Russia's RT broadcaster Simonyan accused Facebook of deliberately blocking their posts for more than a month.

"They have restricted our audience's access to our information on Facebook for more than a month. No one can see the posts," RT Television director RT Margarita Simonyan posted on social networking site Telegram on November 15. , referring to the Russian language RTD channel, part of RT, has over 125,000 followers on Facebook.

"Our staff asked executives what they did wrong, but Facebook managers were silent. We live in a world censored by Americans," Simonyan added.

The director of RT television did not specify how Facebook blocked its posts.

RT has a strong say in the media context driven by Western views, but it is also criticized by some European countries. In 2017, French President Emmanuel Macron accused RT of "false propaganda" during the presidential election campaign. In the UK, Ofcom's State Communications Office has accused RT of breaking the standards for transparent reporting.
