President Duterte apologized on behalf of the Philippines after a series of logistics issues in organizing the 30th SEA Games.

"On behalf of the country, I'm really sorry. While other national sports teams are here, they should be told that the government is not happy either," Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte mentioned Dai. The 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) in a television interview yesterday, adding that he had asked to investigate the incident.

"It is impossible to ignore the discomfort and discomfort of athletes like sleeping on the floor or starving. For the countries that sent them here, this is a big problem," Duterte said.

Earlier, the SEA Games 30 executive director Ramon Suzara also pledged to address the shortcomings in the organization work. "We are trying our best to handle all the initial problems, which are very normal at sports games," he said.

A series of incidents in the preparation of the SEA Games 30, such as unfinished construction, athletes lacking food, accommodation or delayed transportation, made the organization of the Philippines considered "chaotic". The country is also facing typhoon Kammuri, with a maximum wind of 140 km / h, expected to land on December 3.

SEA Games 30 takes place in Manila, Clark and Subic cities from November 30 to December 11, with 56 sports competitions held in dozens of locations a few hours' drive away.
