The United States reported an unprecedented 24-hour increase in nCoV infections from the day before the presidential election.

Statistics from Reuters show that the US on October 31st recorded an additional 100,233 cases of nCoV infection in just 24 hours, surpassing the record 91,295 cases recorded a day earlier.
