After the last passenger leaves, more than 1,000 Diamond Princess's crew will begin 14 days of isolation. Before that, many of them could not seriously carry out the quarantine because they are the ones who "maintain the life of the yacht". They have to prepare food and bring to each cabin for guests, everyday work but they are accused of accidentally infecting the corona virus on board.

Diamond Princess, the ship is considered the second outbreak of Covid-19 in the world with more than 634 infected people, isolated in Yokohama port, Japan from 4/2. Previously, 970 passengers who were negative for nCoV left the ship after its 14-day isolation period.

Diamond Princess was carrying 3,711 quarantined passengers after a Hong Kong tourist who once boarded a boat was positive for nCoV. During the quarantine, Japanese health officials repeatedly discovered more cases on board, two passengers died.

Japan's Health Minister Katsunobu Kato today defended the disease control process on Diamond Princess, saying that no medical facility is large enough to accommodate more than 3,000 people at the same time. Kato added that Japan is considering using anti-influenza drug Avigan to treat nCoV patients.

"We will check to see if the Avigan drugs can work," he said in a Japanese television program.

The Covid-19 outbreak, which began in Wuhan, China in December 2019, has been reported in 30 countries and territories around the world, causing nearly 78,000 people to be infected and 2,362 to die.

In addition to 634 cases aboard the Diamond Princess, Japan recorded 110 cases of nCoV infection. The spread of this virus has raised concerns about plans to host the Tokyo Summer Olympics as well as the impact on the Japanese economy.
