Hubei recorded an additional 115 deaths, up 5.6% from yesterday and bringing the death toll in the province to 2,144.

The Hubei Provincial Health Commission today reported the number of nCoV infections in the province at 62,442, an increase of 411 cases compared to yesterday. The province also recorded 115 more deaths, an increase of 5.6% from the previous day, bringing the number of deaths from nCoV in the province to 2,144.

This ended three days of drastically reducing the number of new cases and deaths in Hubei Province, but still significantly lower than the previous period. Wuhan City, the center of corona pneumonia (Covid-19), recorded 319 new infections - the lowest increase since January 28 and an additional 99 deaths.

The National Health Commission of China (NHC) has not released new figures, statistics are usually released after a few hours after Hubei Province. The agency yesterday tightened criteria for identifying patients, which only recognize nCoV infections if the nucleic acid test gives positive results.

Pandemic corona pneumonia (Covid-19) appears in 28 countries and territories around the world, making 76,202 people infected, 2,247 people died. 18,221 people recovered and 12,064 people were in critical condition. South Korea yesterday recorded the first death related to nCoV.

A total of 11 deaths from nCoV were recorded outside of mainland China, including Japan, South Korea, France, the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Iran.
