Australia Deborah Pilgrim, 55, was found on October 15 after missing three days because a person saw the word SOS drawn on the ground.

Pilgrim went missing after being lost on 13 October when camping with friends about 100 km from Adelaide, South Australia. Dozens of police and emergency response personnel and a rescue helicopter were deployed to search the remote area.

On the evening of October 15, Neil Marriot monitored from far away his estate near the town of Sedan through security cameras and detected the word SOS (save me) written on the ground near the uninhabited house. He alerted the police and they discovered Pilgrim nearly midnight at a nearby property, where she found drinking water.

Police said Pilgrim was in good condition but still took her to the hospital for a checkup. "I think I fell to the ground," Pilgrim described the moment rescuers arrived.

Marriot said he had just installed a security camera system after a few times when his house was hacked. "I'm glad to know Pilgrim was able to find drinking water, because I was afraid the worst happened to her," he added.
