Trump on Thursday revealed he had taken a hydroxychloroquine pill every day for the past few weeks, although government experts said the drug was unsuitable for anti-nCoV.

Experts quickly expressed concern with Trump's announcement, pointing out that the drug was "extremely dangerous" and even considered it a "crazy thing".

Earlier this month, a New York health newspaper proposed combining hydroxychloroquine with zinc sulfate to create a more effective treatment with Covid-19.

Covid-19 has appeared in more than 210 countries and territories, causing nearly 5.5 million people infected and more than 346,000 deaths.
