Congress rejected the attempt to reverse the electoral votes in five battlefield states Nevada, Michigan, Georgia, Arizona and Pennsylvania.

In the general session of the National Assembly on January 6, the group of parliamentarians supporting President Trump continued the plan to oppose the victory of the electoral college votes in the states of Joe Biden.

Republican Rep. Jody Hice of Georgia declared his opposition to the state's election results on the grounds of "error and fraud".

"Sir, prior to today's actions and events, we have received support from senators. However, after the protests broke out, perhaps a few senators changed.

"So in this case, the objection is not approved," the US Vice President declared, certifying that 16 of the electoral votes in Georgia belonged to Biden.

Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler previously stated to support the attempt to "overturn" the state election, but after protesters stormed Capitol Hill, she insisted "can no longer oppose the election results"

Attempts to reverse election results in Michigan also failed during the joint session of parliament.

Vice President Pence immediately rejected this objection because of a lack of legitimacy.

With Nevada, Republican Rep. Mo Brooks continued to oppose the state's electoral votes.

Brooks said his team opposes the electoral ballot in Nevada "to protect the legitimate votes of the state as well as all other US citizens".

In Pennsylvania, although the written opposition to the electoral college's voting results was supported by a senator, the effort was rejected by the House and Senate.

Pennsylvania was the last state to be challenged with electoral votes.

The US Congress is conducting a joint session chaired by Vice President Mike Pence to count the 50-state electoral votes and certify the victory of Joe Biden, who won 306/538 votes.

The meeting was interrupted after a crowd of supporters Trump swept into parliament, leading to riot scene, leaving 4 dead and more injured.
