UK Minister for Housing, Community and Local Government Robert Jenrick also sent good wishes to President Trump and his family, hoping he will recover soon.

"We all want to send our best wishes to President Trump, the First Lady and their families and wish them a quick recovery," Jenrick told Sky News.

Minister Jenrick expressed sympathy for the news that Trump was positive nCoV, because British Prime Minister Johnson was also exacerbated by Covid-19 and had to be in intensive care.

Charles Michel, President of the Council of Europe, also sent EU health greetings to President Trump, saying that Covid-19 is "a battle we all must fight together. Every day. Even though we are living.

"This proves that the virus does not forgive anyone, even those who are skeptical about it. I wish him a quick recovery," French government spokesman Gabriel Attal said today.

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi best wishes to the US President and First Lady.

In the United States, Vice President Mike Pence and many high-ranking officials such as the governor and senator all expressed hope that Trump recovered soon.

"Karen and I send love and prayers to our close friends President Trump and Lady Melania. We, together with millions of people, across America, wish them a full recovery."

The US President previously announced that he and his wife had received positive nCoV results, after his close aide Hope Hicks became infected with the virus.

Trump tested for nCoV in March and April, and both received negative results.

Trump, 74 years old, has no underlying medical condition, despite being slightly obese.

The news of Trump positive for the nCoV was released as the race to the White House has reached sprint stage.

Covid-19 appeared in more than 210 countries and territories, causing more than 34.4 million people to become infected and more than one million to die.
