Bhutan conducts the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine, expected one week to complete, after only two weeks of the first dose for most adults.

Bhutan's second vaccine Covid-19 vaccine program starts from today, opening for all people over 18 years old, lasting until July 26.

During the previous week's testing deployment, Prime Minister Bhutan Lotay Tshering was injected with the second dose of the American Pharmaceutical Vaccine Moderna.

Bhutan has used nearly 550,000 Astrazeneca vaccine doses funded by India, with more than 60% of the first-dose population, accounting for the majority of the country's adults.

More than 400,000 doses of Astrazeneca Vaccine, Pfizer and Sinopharm will also be transferred to Bhutan from Croatia, Bulgaria, China and some other countries.

Bhutan currently recorded 2,427 cases of NCOV and a death case.
