President Duterte said he would not withdraw public vessels from the disputed area in the South China Sea, even if China "killed" him.

During the May 14 meeting, Defin Definition Minister Lorenzana told President Rodrigo Duterte that the Philippines was implementing two public vessels in the East Sea.

"I want to inform China that on May 2, our two ships there. I won't withdraw the ship. The Philippine ships will not take a cm", President Duterte said.

The Chinese Embassy in Manila has not commented on Duterte's information.
