Wang Songqiang, head of Zhengzhou's central control and prevention center, said most cases were recorded at the People's Hospital No. 6, including cleaning staff, medical staff and treatment patients

He added that infected people with high viral loads caused the cluster in Zhengzhou being spreading rapidly compared to the outbreaks in Nanjing, Zhangjiagia and Chengdu.

Medical staff sampled Covid-19 testing in Zhengzhou City, Ha Nam province.

Zhengzhou currently has a high risk area and three medium risk areas.

Secretary of Henan Province Lou Yangsheng on July 31 urged to implement strict measures to limit Covid-19 to spread, and ask for a comprehensive and thorough investigation of the source of the fastest outbreaks available.

Provincial Secretary also requested cancellation of crowded events, accelerating vaccination and disclosure of disease information for the community in a timely manner, public and transparent way.

Before the cluster appeared, Zhengzhou experienced a serious flood, such as Dai Hong Thuy, causing at least 51 people to kill.
