Hamas, the largest Muslim warrior group in Palestine, began clashing with Israel since 1987, decided to state with Palestinians with a violent path.

Hamas stands for Harakat Al-Muqawama al-Islamiyya in Arabian, meaning Muslim resistance movement.

Hamas's goal is to establish a Palestinian Muslim State on the territory planned before 1948. To fulfill that goal, this movement determines the only road as a struggle with violence, due to violence

Hamas was originally implemented with an anti-Israeli armed struggle and provided a social welfare program for Palestinians.

Since then, Gaza warriors have three wars with Israel, and Egypt maintains a siege in the Gaza Strip to isolate Hamas and put pressure on the attacks.

Hamas in general and sometimes the military wing of the movement was listed on the terrorist list of Israel, the United States, the European Union, England and some other powers.

However, this Islamic movement has received support and financial support from overseas Palestinians, sponsors in Saudi Arab and some other Arab countries.

Iran has long been considered a major donor for the Hamas movement.

Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif Earlier this week with the leader Hamas Ismail Haniyeh, pledged to support the movement.

Hamas became famous after Intifada first when this armed group opposed the Oslo Peace Agreement signed in the 1990s between Isarel and the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), which represents most Palestinians.

In February and March 1996, the group made a number of suicide car bombings, killing nearly 60 Israelis to retaliate the assassination of Hamas's Yahya Ayyash bomb manufacturer in December 1995.

These bloody bombings made Israelis angry, causing Tel Aviv to leave the peace process and take Benjamin Netanyahu, who opposes the Oslo Agreement, to take power that year.

In the post-Oslo world, especially after the defeat of the summit at David in 2000 of the US President Bill Clinton and the second Intifada movement later, Hamas won the power and influence when Israel caused

Hamas set up a clinic and school to serve the Palestinians disappointed about corruption and inefficient operations of the government due to the Fatah faction dominated.

Many Palestinians cheered Hamas's suicide attacks in the early years of Intifada Monday.

In March and April 2004, the spiritual leader of Hamas Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and the successor Abdul Aziz Al-Rantissi was assassinated in Israeli's missile attack in Gaza.

After the leader Fatah Yasser Arafat died in November that year, Mahmoud Abbas, who always watched Hamas's rocket attacks to be counterproductive, came to power in Palestine.

After two conflicts, Hamas was militaryly harmed but gained new support from Palestinians, because this movement still exists after fighting Israel.

The war in Gaza broke out again in mid-2014, when Israel opened a military campaign on the attacker of Many Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.

Since 2014, many violent clashes have broke out between the two sides and often ending by the order to stop by Egypt, Qatar and the United Nations as an intermediary, making the conflict not escalate into a comprehensive war.

Despite the siege pressure, Hamas still holds the power in Gaza and continues to develop an increasingly sophisticated arsenal.
