The alarming thing is that the number of new cases daily in Indonesia is higher than India despite the country's population is only 1/5 of India.

The number of people died because Covid-19 in Indonesia today was only almost half compared to 2,020 cases in India, but the number of per capita deaths was higher.

The average mortality rate caused by Covid-19 in Indonesia is 3 people per million people, while India recognizes less than one shift over one million people.

In total, India is still in Asia's largest epidemic area with more than 30.9 million cases and 410,784 people died, followed by Indonesia with more than 2.6 million cases and 68,219 cases of death.

Indonesia Minister Budan Sadikin today said the rate of using beds for Covid-19 patients in 12 provinces exceeded 70%.

Sadikin said the government is preparing for the number of casual cases to increase by 30% in the next two weeks and the situation of many other localities becomes more serious.

The beds in Indonesia are quickly filled after the Muslim Eid holiday in May, and the transformation of Delta is easier to spread the country.

The vaccination campaign in Indonesia was also deployed slowly.
