Iranian state television said British Vice Ambassador Whitaker was arrested for suspected spy activities, but London rejected the information.

The spies have sampled land in the desert of Central Iran, where IRGC conducted rocket drills, Iranian state television said, and published the image of Mr. Whitaker seemed to be sampling the land when traveling when going.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman rejected the information, saying that the news about the arrest of British diplomats in Iran was completely wrong.

Iranian media also said one of the people arrested was the husband of the Austrian embassy culture.

IRGC has arrested dozens of foreign citizens and two nationalities in recent years, mainly due to allegations of spying and threatening national security.

The Iranian government arrested a Chinese man accused of posting photos of the British women who met on social networks even though they were not agreed.

The British Ambassador to Iran Macaire was arrested for allegedly provoking protests against the government, but was released about an hour later.
