Taiwan accused Beijing intervened to prevent the island to reach the agreement to buy Vaccine Covid-19 of Germany Germany Biontech.

Taiwan's leader Thai Anh Van in the meeting with the People's Committee today said the island government ordered "smoothly" with Astrazeneca and Moderna's Covid-19 vaccine doses.

"For German BionTech, we have nearly completed the contract, but due to the intervention from Beijing, so far there is no way to complete the procedure," Ms. Thai Anh Van said.

Biontech has not commented on information.

Health workers sampled Covid-19 for people in Taipei, Taiwan on May 21.

China repeatedly denied Taiwan from approaching the contract to buy Vaccine Covid-19 and offered the vaccine to the island as a goodwill gesture.

Fosun signed an agreement with BionTech to exclusive development and commercialization of Vaccine Covid-19 products using MRNA technology in mainland China as well as Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Island.

Taiwan Island currently records more than 6,000 cases and 46 deaths caused by NCOV.

China considers Taiwan as a territorial area waiting for unified, even by force if necessary.
