US Defense Ministers, Australia and Japan on October 1 agreed to promote military cooperation to counter China.

During the talks in Hawaii, the three countries' ministers also strongly condemned Chinese missile launches through the Taiwan Strait in August, after US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi visited the island, the Ministry of Defense.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin expressed deeply concerns about China's recent increasingly fierce moves in Taiwan Strait and other parts of the region.

Our concerns are always towards maintaining order based on global rules.

Hamada said the Ministers also asserted their determination to protest any actions that escalate tensions related to Chinese ballistic missile tests.

China always considers Taiwan as a waiting province and declares ready to use force if needed.

The tension around Taiwan escalated after the US House of Representatives Pelosi visited the island on August 2-8.

US Vice President Kamala Harris last week Du Japan and South Korea, claiming Washington would act without fear or hesitation across Asia, including the Taiwan Strait.
