Ms. Hang said Vietnam has received 4 vaccines, including 4.4 million doses of Astrazeneca through the Covax program, buying and being awarded by Japan, 2,000 doses of Sputnik V by Russia, 500,000 doses of Vero Cell by Sinopharm by China

The Covax program is committed to giving priority to Vietnam in subsequent allocation and will transfer to Vietnam to two million doses of Vaccine Moderna provided by the US, expected to come to Vietnam this week.

White House on June 21 announced a plan to share 55 million doses of vaccine Covid-19 next to the world, of which 41 million doses will be transferred to countries through the Covax distribution mechanism of the World Health Organization.

Among the vaccines are transferred according to this Covax mechanism, 16 million doses will be sent to countries and territories in Asia, including Vietnam.
