India: Family gas exploded this morning in Mau County, Uttar Pradesh state, leaving at least 10 people dead and 24 injured.

The explosion also caused the two-story house completely collapsed. Among the injured were taken to emergency, 6 people critical, local media reported.

The rescue process is being carried out quickly due to concerns that many people may still be trapped in the house. Neighbors said as soon as the explosion occurred, the building was engulfed by fire.

Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, the head of state, extended his condolences to the victims and directed responsible agencies to support the affected people.
