Video on the television shows some officials in charge of isolation on Diamond Princess yacht in the port of Yokohama last night to check the health of all 2,500 passengers and 1,000 crew members.

The move comes after an 80-year-old passenger who departed from Hong Kong on January 25 was found positive for nCoV.

A woman in her 20s and 30s with her mother on the train today told TBS that every passenger was asked to stay in the room to wait for a virus test. She said she had waited in the room since yesterday and until this morning did not know when she would undergo medical examination.

After the Diamond Princess arrived at Yokohama, passengers were told to leave the area and could wait back 24 hours, a passenger told Kyodo news agency.

This is not the first time the Diamond Princess has been isolated. The ship was isolated on February 1 when it stopped at a port in Okinawa, Japan. However, due to an additional person who found positive for nCoV, the Ministry of Health decided to continue to isolate the ship upon arrival in Yokohama.

Since February 1, Japan has banned foreigners from visiting Hubei in recent weeks, as well as stopping visas for Chinese people in Hubei. People who come to Japan with signs of nCoV infection may also be denied entry. 8 foreigners have been denied entry.

Japan's Ministry of Health, yesterday, had 20 cases positive for nCoV in the country, of which four did not show any symptoms. Earlier, Japan had evacuated more than 500 citizens of this country in Wuhan, the epicenter of the pandemic, returning home.

Epidemic pneumonia caused by nCoV started in Wuhan city in early December 2019, spreading to 31 provinces in China and 25 countries in the world. The plague killed 426 people and 20,622 people, mainly in China.
