More than 300 Vietnamese citizens stuck in Canada and South Korea returned home by Covid-19 on a landing at Tan Son Nhat airport on August 9-10.

The flight is coordinated by the authorities of Vietnam, Canada, and Korea.

Measures on security, safety, and epidemiology have been implemented during the flight to ensure the health of citizens and prevent epidemics from spreading.

Vietnam has cooperated with foreign officials since April 10, organizing more than 60 return flights, bringing more than 17,000 citizens in more than 50 countries and territories to the country to avoid epidemics.

Covid-19 appeared in more than 210 countries and territories, infected more than 20 million people, more than 734,000 people died and nearly 13 million recovered.
