More than 310 Vietnamese citizens were stranded in South Korea because Covid-19 returned home today, landed in Noi Bai and were secluded in isolation.

The flight was performed today by the authorities and the National Airline in cooperation with the relevant Korean authorities, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

Passengers on the flight include children under 18, seniors, pregnant women, the sick, out-of-contract workers, no residence, students without a residence due to dormitories

Flight is ensured in terms of security, safety, regulations on disease prevention and epidemiological hygiene.

Covid-19 has appeared in more than 210 countries and territories, causing more than 16.2 million infections and nearly 650,000 deaths.

Vietnamese officials are continuing to develop a plan to bring citizens back to the country, meeting the needs of overseas Vietnamese and matching domestic isolation capacity.
