He also denied that President Putin's silence was a tacit signal that Moscow rejected the voting results in the US presidential election.

The Kremlin spokesman asserted that Putin's decision was not influenced by the fact that most of the world's leaders sent Biden congratulations.

As usual, the US states must complete the electoral process, select electors on December 8.
