More than 2,000 visitors visit Tham Luang cave, Chiang Rai province in just one day, said Kamolchai Kotcha, director of the cave management conservation department.

However, they can only visit at the entrance of the cave, not deep inside. Officials said they were considering allowing people to go deeper after the safety survey. A number of rescue equipment including telephone wires, tubes and zippers can be displayed in the cave.

The 11-16-year-olds and the coach of the Wild Pigs team were trapped in Tham Luang cave on June 23, 2018, when they came in to explore after the football practice. Heavy rains caused floodwaters to completely block the cave exit, leaving 13 people isolated for nine days before being found by an international group of divers.

Dramatic rescue with the participation of experts from many countries has successfully freed the child team on July 10, 2018 in the burst of both Thai people and international public opinion. The first film of the rescue was released this month at the Busan International Film Festival in Korea.
