The chairman of the US House Intelligence Committee said the impeachment report will be published early next month, after the Thanksgiving holiday.

US Senate Intelligence Committee President Adam Schiff said yesterday the committees involved in impeachment of President Donald Trump will send a report to the House Judiciary Committee on December 3, when MPs return. back to Washington after the holiday. The House Intelligence Committee is the agency that leads the impeachment investigation.

In a letter to parliamentarians, Schiff said the report would include a list of times the White House refused to cooperate with the investigation, stating that failure to cooperate could form the basis of a separate impeachment on allegations obstructing parliament.

"Dozens of witnesses obeyed President Trump's orders to defy the legal summons. The White House, State Department, Department of Defense, Office of Management and Budget, Ministry of Energy did not provide any documents. in response to the warrant, "Schiff wrote. "In fact, committees do not receive any documents from any law enforcement agency."

The publication of the report is a precondition for the Democratic-led House of Representatives to vote on impeachment of Trump.

The Intelligence Council last week ended two weeks of public hearings and weeks of interviewing secret witnesses in the investigation, paving the way for MPs to draft the report. Schiff said the investigation continued, but investigators could still hold testimonies or hearings.

Once the report is received, the Judicial Commission may conduct a variety of proceedings, including hearings. The council will draft a Trump impeachment clause before voting in the House of Representatives.

If the impeachment charges are approved, the Republican-controlled Senate will hold a trial on whether to condemn Trump and depose him. However, Republicans show little inclination to show that they will depose the President, who is seeking re-election in 2020.

Trump denied false allegations and many of his Republican allies called the investigation a hoax, prank, or Democratic attempt to reverse the 2016 presidential election results.

The House of Commons investigation focused on a July 25 telephone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, in which Trump asked his Ukrainian counterpart to investigate political rival Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. Hunter used to work for a Ukrainian energy company.

Democrats accuse Mr. Trump of abusing his power by retaining $ 391 million in security aid to pressure Ukraine to bring down its political rival. Biden, former vice president of the United States, was the Democratic candidate's top candidate in the 2020 presidential election.
