The number of daily cases and deaths from nCoV increased sharply in the previous week after the country began to gradually relax restrictive measures to prevent nCoV from being introduced in mid-April.

Iranian Ministry of Health spokesman Sima Sadat Lari said Covid-19 in border provinces and cities had yet to reach its peak.

All Iranian shops, bars, restaurants and public facilities have been opened, however, schools in some areas have not yet reopened.
