Huckle, who is currently serving 22 life sentences for abusing 200 Malaysian children, has been found dead in his cell at Full Sutton Prison.

Local media said Richard Huckle, 33, was stabbed to death with a knife in a prison attack near York City, northeastern England. Prison officials refused to confirm the situation on October 14. The police are investigating and treating Hackle's death as a "suspicious case".

Huckle received 22 life sentences in June 2016 after admitting 71 allegations of sexual abuse against children aged 6 months to 12 years between 2006-2014. Police believe that Huckle, a former freelance photographer, posed as an English teacher and philanthropist to sexually abuse 200 children in Malaysia.

Judge Peter Rook, presiding over the Huckle trial, said that judges rarely have to hear such a sexual abuse case on such a scale. He also described Huckle's 60-page handbook on child abuse as "a harmful document".

Before her arrest in London in 2014, Huckle expressed her hope to marry a girl she had known since she was seven years old to influence her young mind, making her the perfect wife. In fact, this girl is also one of Huckle's victims.

After Huckle was arrested, authorities found more than 20,000 photos and videos with bad content about children. They also found Huckle sexually abusing children on his computer and camera.
