TikTok brings US election guides into the app to help users access correct information about this year's election.

Before TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other Internet applications all worked hard to provide users with reliable news and avoid being used to give false information to voters during the general election.

According to Mr. Beckerman, the guide can be accessed from the Explore page in the TikTok app and there will be election-related search results.

"On TikTok, we are seeing how people, especially young voters, are interested in important issues and ready to speak out," said BallotReady chief executive Alex Niemczewski.

District of Columbia Federal Court Judge Carl Nicholas on September 27 issued a decision to temporarily suspend the download ban at TikTok's request, meaning TikTok can operate without interruption at least until it takes place.

TikTok recently pushed for a deal to keep the app operating in the US, after Trump in August signed executive orders that forced ByteDance to sell its stakes to a US company, otherwise.

Trump said the agreement between TikTok with two US companies, including technology company Oracle and retail supermarket chain Walmart, is being promoted.
