Just minutes after the debate, Trump tweeted a composite photo of himself, on the other side two faces of Biden and Wallace, without any captions.

During the 90-minute debate, Wallace once had to ask President Trump to stop interrupting his opponents, after the President overwhelmed Biden and ignored the admonitions of his boss.

"And he must be, too," replied Trump.

18 minutes after the debate started, Biden told Trump: "Will you shut up?"

Trump is said to overwhelm opponents with tactics "robbing words", personal attacks, making the debate "torn apart" and at times falling into chaos.

"It was like a train accident. This is the worst debate I've ever seen. It's not even a debate, it's a disgrace," commented CNN reporter Jake Tapper.

On Twitter, many users expressed their opinion after watching the first live debate between the two candidates.

"It's hard to follow, it's like the worst Zoom meeting ever," commented account Kevin M. Cruse, referring to the remote meeting application combining video, based in California, USA.
