"Joe Biden used to be John McCain's henchmen. He made a lot of bad decisions about endless wars and the Department of Veterans Affairs, areas that I had saved from the disaster.

Cindy McCain on 22/9 announced on Twitter about his decision to back Joe Biden.

John McCain served as an Arizona senator for more than three decades and was a Republican presidential candidate in 2008. He died of brain cancer in 2018.

Biden, who was a senator from 1973 - 2009, was longtime friend of McCain despite his different ideological differences.

In August, more than 100 former McCain employees announced their support for Biden.
