Along with many other small business owners, Lien Ta talked about the difficulties they encountered due to the pandemic but was not supported by the federal government, while expressing hopes for a candidate's economic plan Biden.

"On the day we closed the store, Covid-19 was declared a global pandemic," Lien Ta said in the video.

She said the first thing she was forced to do was leave her employees because the blockade went into effect on March 15.

"At that time, I didn't even know how to sell," she said.

"We are not asking for much from the authorities," Mayor Garcetti told Lien Ta from inside the All Day Baby restaurant.

Many other small business owners agree that the road ahead is very blurred, with federal loans running out and vaccines still far away, it is difficult to expect things "back to normal".

Many famous restaurants have disappeared into the Los Angeles culinary business and many others will surely be in the same situation, especially without federal financial intervention.

Earlier, on the second night of the congress on August 18, another Vietnamese woman of Vietnamese descent contributed a voice at this important event, Washington state congressman Thai My Linh.

Explaining that she came to the US at the age of 15, Ms. My Linh emphasized that education is the key to every opportunity and shows her support for the Democratic Party.

"Democracy invests in education because we are committed to fighting for every child," she said.

In the online voting that evening, 50 US states and 7 territories announced the Democratic presidential candidate and Mr. Biden was officially nominated by the Democrats as the head-to-head candidate.

The Covid-19 pandemic forced Democrats to revise their plans for a national conference, which took place from August 17 to August 20, which eliminated most of the live events at the Downtown Wisconsin in the city.

The post-conference polls show that the advantage is in Biden's favor.
