William and Harry agreed to divide the proceeds from the future Princess Diana Memorial Fund to the charities of the two.

The financial documents revealed today show the deal between the two was signed in December 2019, just a month before Harry and Meghan announced their intention to leave the British royal family and become financially independent.

The Princess of Wales Memorial Fund Diana, mother of Prince William and Harry, has been under the Royal Foundation's control since April 2013.

However, in June 2019, Harry and Meghan revealed their intention to separate from the charity fund.

In March 2020, Harry and Meghan announced that the Royal Sussex Foundation was no longer their main charity in the UK and that the proceeds from the Diana Foundation would be transferred to another charity.

Harry asked to transfer the money he shared to Sentebale, a charity created to help people affected by extreme poverty and HIV / AIDS in Lesotho, Botswana and Malawi.

The Royal Foundation's annual report revealed that it provided an unlimited grant of more than $ 180,000 to the Royal Sussex Foundation to set up its own charity.

In addition, the Royal Foundation said it also agreed to provide "the venue for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to carry out their projects".

Earlier this month, it was reported that Harry and Meghan formed a global charity based on their son Archie.

The Royal Foundation said it was still the main charitable organization for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, although the Royal Sussex Foundation was dissolved.
