The Indian military helicopter crashed when patrolling near the border of dispute with China, causing one death and an injury.

The Indian Defense Ministry said a Cheetah helicopter fell in Tawang, a way from the actual control line to separate the country's Arunachal Pradesh from Chinese territory about 16 km, when they were patrolling regularly on the morning of October 5.

Indian pilots were in distress in Tawang on October 5.

On the helicopter, there were two officers, both were taken to the military hospital for emergency treatment but one was seriously injured.

This is the second accident related to Cheetah helicopters this year in India.

The Tawang region is in the Indian Arunachal Pradesh state.
