Russia will launch high definition Kanopus-V satellite to Iran, helping this country possess unprecedented strong reconnaissance capacity, according to US officials.

Kanopus-V is expected to be Russia launched in the next few months.

If implemented, this agreement will significantly improve military capacity to Iran, when the country has a lot of difficulties in efforts to bring spy satellites to space throughout the past months.
