5 seconds later, the bed and the room began to shake.

Mr. Steve Rosenthal, survivors in the apartment collapsed in Florida, USA on June 24.

After that, the dust began to fall from the ceiling so Rosenthal ran into the hallway.

I heard everyone screaming: 'Help me!

Rosenthal said he escaped death was a miracle because all the apartments before his eyes were completely destroyed.

I opened the door and that was what I saw.

Rosenthal returned to the apartment to change and take some furniture, then go to the balcony waiting for the rescue team.

I was afraid, he said and described how he desperately waved his hand to attract the attention of rescue workers.

Soon after, the firefighter on the forklift brought him and some other people to the ground.

Rosenthal lives in two-bedroom apartments in the Champlain Towers South 20 years and has never had to worry about the state of the building, until the accident occurs.

I have seen cracks on the balcony, but now I'm going to see the report from construction engineers.

Rosenthal filed a unit to manage the building on June 26 and was working with Global Empowerment Mission to support survivors.

We donated $ 250,000 and are giving that money to survivors.

This is a complete loss, Rosenthal added.
