The first decision to mark for the first time in 70 years of reign, the Queen of England appointed the new Prime Minister at Balmoral Castle in Scotland instead of at the Buckingham Palace in London.

This change seems to reflect the health situation of the queen at the age of 96. The previous officials mentioned her difficulties in traveling.

Balmoral is a traditional summer vacation of the Queen.
