The UAVs then form an image of a mask, surrounded by the nCoV virus, followed by images of hands and water droplets in the night sky.

The 10-minute performance also aims to convey the message of gratitude to the frontline health workers as well as the Korean people for their joint efforts.

"Thank you," the drones line up in the sky next to the heart, then the image of the Korean peninsula with the message: "Cheer up, South Korea".

The event is organized by the government and must not be promoted in advance to ensure rules for social spacing.

The number of new nCoV infections in South Korea today has decreased slightly, but the number of imported and infectious cases in major city epidemic groups has increased.

South Korea is in the first phase of a limited easing plan, in which people are allowed to carry out economic and social activities but must follow the epidemic prevention rule.

However, before the emerging epidemic clusters, health experts urged the authorities to tighten measures for social spacing.
