Investigators see this as a murder case. The victim's husband fled to China with his 4 and 6-year-old sons. Police are determining whether this man has been arrested in China.

Sources close to the investigation said neighbors heard loud arguments from the couple's apartment earlier this week. The husband and children left on November 26, the rabbits they raised also disappeared from the apartment.

"We were shocked and unbelievable because this is one of the best suburbs we have ever lived in. I am sorry for their families and the children," said neighbor Farrah Mahdavi.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death of the woman. The coroners gathered evidence and will determine how long the body has been in the refrigerator.
