South Korea's military yesterday announced North Korea launched three warheads from the Sondok area in South Hamgyong province, east of the country. Both shells flew 200 km, reached a maximum height of 50 km and fell into the Sea of Japan.

The image released by KCNA showed that Kim Jong-un wore no mask, used binoculars to monitor the exercise, while military commanders wore black masks. A series of rocket fire systems fired in this activity, including a super-large rocket complex with a caliber of 600 mm.

This is the second time North Korea has launched a super-large jet rocket in just one week. This weapon has a range of about 400 km, enough to threaten most US and South Korean bases. Experts say that North Korea is in the process of completing and will soon put super-large jet guns ready to fight.

The recent exercises of Pyongyang also seem to increase military morale and show that the country is not affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
