Covid-19 appeared in 113 countries and territories, causing more than 114,000 people infected, more than 4,000 people died, of which the number of new infections in Italy soared.

The number of infections in Italy soared in the past 24 hours, when the country recorded 1,797 more positive cases of nCoV, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 9,172 and becoming the second largest outbreak in the world.

Italy is also the country with the second highest number of Covid-19 deaths in the world, just behind China, with 463 cases, an increase of 97 cases compared to the previous day. Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has imposed a nationwide blockade to cope with the epidemic.

South Korea currently records 7,478 infections and 53 deaths. The country usually reports the number of new infections the previous day in the morning, and then updates the afternoon with current day data until the time of publication.

Iran recorded 595 more positive cases of nCoV, bringing the number of infected people in the country to 7,161. The number of deaths in the country is now 237, an increase of 43 cases from the previous day.

China has not released statistics yesterday.

France and Spain recorded a series of new cases, of which the number of positive cases of nCoV increased by 203 and 557 cases, respectively. The total number of nCoV infections in France is 1,412 and Spain is 1,231, the number of deaths in both countries is 30.

Germany has detected 1,224 cases of nCoV, and recorded the first two deaths among patients in the western part of the country. He recorded 43 new cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 321, including 5 deaths.

The number of nCoV infections in the US has increased to 624, an additional 83 cases from the previous day, the number of deaths is now 26, an increase of 4 cases.

Burkina Faso, Cyprus, Brunei and the Channel Islands are the countries and territories that recorded the first cases of nCoV infections yesterday.

The world currently records 114,280 cases of nCoV, 4,008 people have died and 62,841 people have recovered.
