Chauvin's three colleagues, Thomas Lane, J. Alexander Kueng and Tou Thao on June 3, were indicted for second-degree murder and support, assisting and abetting manslaughter.

Chauvin on 25/5 pressed his knee to the back of George Floyd, 46, nearly 9 minutes in the arrest of related person allegedly using counterfeit money in Minneapolis, while the remaining three police officers assisted.

Tens of thousands of people ignored a curfew on June 2 in several US cities to protest for eight consecutive days in a bid to bring justice to Floyd.

Trump said that justice must be enforced for Floyd but also has a tough stance on violent protests.
