According to Ms Hang, the plan was made on the basis of ensuring the compliance with preventive measures with specific conditions, preventing the spread of diseases in the community, contributing to the recovery and socio-economic development.

In the immediate future, Vietnam will prioritize those who are allowed to enter the country, including Vietnamese citizens, foreigners who are experts, investors, business managers, skilled workers, and people who enter the country.

"The Ministry of Transport is in talks with the authorities of the above countries and territories to agree on specific flight techniques, frequencies and routes," the spokesman said.

The statement of flight restoration plan was issued in the context that Vietnam basically controlled Covid-19.

However, the epidemic situation in many parts of the world is still complicated, and many places have to re-impose blockades.
